Ethiopian Airlines has announced flights resumption from Abuja, Nigeria to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. In the announcement, the airline noted that it’s only passengers with United Arab Emirate Residence (UAE) Card that are eligible to travel.
For now, the Ethiopian Airline flights from Nigeria to Dubai will be through Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. According to an inside source, the focus is on Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos may join later.

Ethiopian Airlines is pleased to announce that passengers who are UAE resident cardholders can travel to Dubai from Abuja with the below requirements to adhere strictly.
The eligible passengers are mandated to undergo some checks and must meet certain conditions before they will be allowed to fly from Abuja to Dubai.

Requirements
- Passenger must be a United Arab Emirate Residence (UAE) Card Holder.
- Passengers must possess an Entry permit authorization letter. (can only travel to the permitted city).
- 48hours PCR Negative test result.
- A Rapid PCR test shall be conducted at the departure airport before 6 hours of departure.
- Two doses of vaccine should have been completed.
