Yesterday, Ibom Air reached a milestone in its aviation business. I am happy to write this not because they reach 10,000th flights but because they reached the milestone with outstanding achievements.
Ibom Air first flight was on June 7 2019 when the state-owned airline started flight operations. The first flight a Bombardier CRJ900 took off from Victor Attah International Airport (QUO), Uyo to Muritala Muhammed International Airport (LOS), Lagos. Onboard the flight was the state government officials.
In less than 2 years, Ibom Air flight QI104 recoded the 10,000th flights. The 10,000th flight departed Victor Attah International Airport (QUO) at 4:15 pm to Muritala Muhammed International Airport (LOS), Lagos.
Ibom Air thanked customers for making it possible to 10,000th within a short period.
Today, Ibom Air celebrated our 10,000th flight! QUO – LOS, flight QI104, 4:15 pm. Thank you for your continued patronage and support. We truly appreciate every single one of our valued customers and well-wishers.
Ibom Air Achievements So Far
Ibom Air is steady on the rise. So far, the airline has 5 aircraft in its fleet. As of May 18, 2021, Ibom Air covers 5 destinations in Nigeria. the destinations are Lagos, Uyo, Abuja, Calabar and Enugu. The airline is still planning to open new routes in Nigeria.
According to reports, Ibom Air has signed an interlining agreement with Dana Air. This will agreement will help the airline to expand its network and increase sales too.
Ibom air is also the first state-owned airline in Nigeria.
Ibom Air Flight performance
Though I have not used the Ibom Air flight before, I hope to do so soon. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 13:1 “By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.” Many travellers can attest to the fact that Ibom air is currently the best airline in Nigeria in terms of flight performance.
In Nigeria where domestic airlines are not reliable, Ibom Air is changing the narrative. The airline scorecard on schedule reliability, on-time departure and excellent service is super awesome. The number of flights delayed by the airline is very low when compared to other airlines that delay or cancel flights anytime.
