Starting from November 9, 2018, Nigeria and all other African countries will have the option of getting an Ethiopian visa on arrival.
The visa on arrival for all African countries is in line with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s vision of bringing Africans to the country.

The visa on arrival will encourage tourists to visit the country and explore the rich tourist attractions the country has to offer.
From November 9, 2018, all Africans that want to visit Ethiopia can get the visa on arrival only at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport. Travellers are expected to show the required documents at the airport. It is not applicable to other points of entry.
