Ethiopian Airlines has announced flights resumption from Nigeria to Dubai for passengers with any United Arab Emirates visa type. According to Ethiopian Airlines, passengers with a tourist visa, student visa, resident visa and other types of UAE visas can now fly from Nigeria to Dubai.
Just like Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines also set rules passengers must follow before they will be allowed to fly Ethiopian Airlines flights from Nigeria to Dubai. The airline mentioned that passengers will conduct a rapid test at Addis Ababa airport before connecting to another flight that will take them to Dubai.

- Passengers shall have a minimum connecting time of 3 hours and 30 minutes for the rapid test to be done at the airport.
- Passengers shall be advised that the Rapid RT PCR Test will be conducted at Addis Ababa Airport during the transit time which should not be less than 3:30 hours and not exceed 6 hours.
- Passengers will be charged USD 50 for the Covid-19 Rapid Test at the airport. Passengers must pay the money in USD.
- Passengers shall be made to sign an indemnity to cover their costs at Addis Ababa if they are tested positive for their flight.
