Emirates Airline has confirmed 6 July 2021 as a new date for the flight from Nigeria (Lagos and Abuja) to Dubai resumption date.
Recall that, emirates on June 21, 2021, announced that flight from Nigeria to Dubai has been suspended until further notice. The airline cited government directives and lack of government permit as the reason for the flight suspension.
In a new statement made available to the public, Emirates stated that flight from Nigeria (Lagos and Abuja) will resume from 6 July 2021. However, the airline stressed that passengers that have been to or connected through Nigeria in the last 14 days are not permitted to enter the United Arab Emirates.
In line with government directives, passenger flights to and from Nigeria (Lagos and Abuja) are suspended until 06 July 2021. Customers travelling to and from Lagos and Abuja will not be accepted for travel.
Customers who have been to or connected through Nigeria in the last 14 days are not permitted to board from any other point to the UAE. We regret the inconvenience caused, and affected customers should contact their booking agent or Emirates call centre for rebooking.

To all those that have Emirates Airlines ticket, you have two options. Option one is to keep the ticket open and use it later in the future. Option 2 is to change the ticket and use it for a new date.
If you booked through a travel agent and you want to change the ticket, contact your travel agent. If you booked with Emirates airline, contact them or contact us to assist you with the flight change.
Expired Visa Issues
So far, what I know is that the United Arab Emirates authorities may likely not renew or extend the validity of all the expired visas. I am still gathering information on this.
If you need a new visa, you can contact us for a cheap and fast visa. Within 2 working days, your visa will be out.
Other Airlines – Air Peace, Qatar, Etihad, Ethiopian, Rwanda air etc Update
So far, other airlines have not announced flight resumption date. Emirates airline is the online airline that has announced. Emirates will resume on the 6th of July 2021. If others update their flight resumption, I will update you asap.
What Is The Next Thing
Just as I pointed out in my last post, the last flight suspension by emirates was just to follow the normal due process and they have done that. So, dust your travel bag and get ready to move.
