The Nigeria government has released a list of restricted and approved airlines that are allowed to enter Nigeria. We recently reported that Nigeria is planning to restrict some airlines and countries from entering Nigeria. The list below has the name and airlines that are allowed to enter Nigeria.
The reason for the restriction is because they banned Nigerians from entering their country. According to the Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Musa Nuhu, any country that bans Nigeria will also be banned from entering Nigeria.
International flights will resume on the 5th of September 2020. Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja will resume first. Other international airports will join them later.
