Ethiopian Airlines has suspended flights into Dubai starting from 1st February 2021 until further notice. The flight’s suspension is in response to United Arab Emirate authorities ban on flight transiting from another point. Only direct flights (Emirates and Air Peace) will be allowed to enter Dubai.
Ethiopian Airlines will not lift passengers from Nigeria to Dubai from 31st January 2021 until further notice. All affected tickets will be opened for future travel. Passengers also have an option for a full refund. The travel restriction only affects flights travelling to Dubai. All return date (flight from Dubai) is still valid.
United Arab Emirate effective from 1st February 2021 will only allow Nigeria passengers on a direct flight to enter Dubai. Nigeria Passengers to Dubai via any transit point will not be allowed to enter Dubai. In view of this, we, therefore, request you to kindly notify our esteemed passengers that Ethiopian Airlines will not lift passengers from Nigeria to Dubai from 31st January, 2021 until further notice. Tickets of affected passengers will be opened for future travel or full refund.
