Arik Air has started plans to return to the ancient city of Kano with a 3 times a week flight operation between Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos and Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano.
Starting from April 27, 2021, Arik Air will restart the flight from Lagos to Kano. Arik will only fly 3 times every week from Kano to Lagos or from Lagos to Kano.
The flight days are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Depending on the passenger’s traffic, Arik may increase the 3 times a week flight to a weekly flight between the 2 economic cities.
According to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Arik Air, Captain Roy Ilegbodu, Arik Air will return to one of the finest Northern cities, Kano state with exceptional services and custom Arik Air hospitality. Customers on Arik Air flight from Lagos to Kano should expect something different.
“We are pleased to announce the return of services to the ancient city of Kano. Our flights will offer our customers the advantage of direct air travel between Lagos and Kano. Customers on this route should expect the traditional Arik Air hospitality and exceptional service that have become the hallmark of the airline.”
Before this announcement, Azman Air, Air Peace, max Air and Aero were the only airlines that operate flights from Lagos to Kano. Air Peace and Max Air have a daily flight between the 2 cities. Azman flights were suspended by NCAA at the time we published this article so we don’t know exactly the airline flight days. Aero Flight days are Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday.
For now, there is no price update for the Arik Air Lagos to Kano flight. We cannot say exactly how much it will cost to get a ticket from Lagos to Kano.
